Standard Introduction

EcoVadis is the world's leading corporate sustainability rating platform, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Paris, France. Using evidence-based assessment methods, EcoVadis evaluates companies' social responsibility and sustainability performance. It is used by over 100,000 organizations across more than 170 countries and regions, covering 200 industries worldwide.

Evaluation Process

1. Register on EcoVadis via customer invitation or self-registration
2. Complete the online assessment questionnaire and upload supporting documents (e.g., policy documents, audit reports, certificates).
3. The EcoVadis analyst team conducts a in-depth review of submitted materials over 4-6 weeks.
4. Publish Scorecard with composite score ranging from 0 to 100 and breakdown scores by topic.
5. Provide improvement recommendations and benchmarking analysis
6. Share the scorecard with all trading partners via the platform.

Fee Details

EcoVadis assessment fees are tiered based on company size and revenue, with annual costs typically ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 RMB. Large enterprises and groups may incur higher subscription fees.

Accredited Institutions

The EcoVadis rating is conducted independently by our in-house analyst team, with no involvement from third-party auditors. Our assessment methodology aligns with international standards such as GRI, UNGC, and ISO 26000.

Certificate validity period

The EcoVadis Scorecard is valid for 12 months. We recommend annual reassessment to reflect the latest sustainability performance and improvements.
